Integrating Multisensory Techniques in Reading
Spring 2019
Share
Multisensory instruction is a way of teaching using differentiation that engages more than one sense at a time. For struggling readers, multisensory techniques allow learning to occur using different pathways in the brain: visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic. Join us as we discuss strategies to improve reading skills such as background knowledge, comprehension, summarization, and mental imagery. Learn how to make your reading instruction multisensory for all of your students! Should you have questions about this session, please contact the trainers.
