Building the Bridge Between FIE and Instruction (2 part series)
Part 2




Are you a diagnostician who has always wanted others to look at your evaluation results for more than just eligibility? This 2 part session will enhance your current FIE a make it a powerful tool for supporting student success. Participants will learn to report on how the disability affects involvement and progress in the general education curriculum, build on their understanding of a pattern of strengths and weaknesses relevant to academic area(s) of concern, and learn strategies on how to report the necessary specially designed instruction for a student. Well written evaluations support teachers in Dimension 1.4 and 2.4 of T-TESS by providing the information to help teachers encourage student’s higher order thinking allowing teachers to differentiate instruction in their classroom.
