Utilizing the Focus on Woodcock Munoz Language Survey (WMLS) III When Assessing for Dysgraphia

Dysgraphia is a specific learning disability that affects written expression. Dysgraphia can appear as difficulties with spelling, poor handwriting, and trouble putting thoughts on paper. This workshop will begin by defining the term “dysgraphia” as a related disorder or in our Texas Education Code for dyslexia. The presenter will highlight characteristics of dysgraphia and discuss assessment practices using tests from the WMLS III and other assessments.
