This session will discuss best practices in evidence-based assessment for young children who are non-English speakers, incipient bilinguals, or ELLs.  We will discuss standardized testing, case and language history tools, language sampling/observations, and alternative assessment strategies with the goal of having assessment lead smoothly to intervention decisions.
