This training is designed for field supervisors who support clinical teachers or internship teachers who have been admitted to an EPP on or after December 27, 2016.  The session will allow participants to become familiar with the new EPP Field Supervisor Observation Cycle based on the T-TESS process.  Participants will review and practice the coaching strategies, learn to collect data to facilitate pre- and post-conferences, begin to understand how to integrate the domains, dimensions, descriptors and performance levels of the T-TESS rubric to the roles and responsibilites of a field supervisor, understand that the observation cycle is based on best practices and an ongoing system of feedback and support and practice preparing for and having pre- and post-conferences.

The purpose of this training is to:

•review and practice the coaching strategies;
•learn to collect data to facilitate pre- and post- conferences;
•begin to understand how to integrate the domains, dimensions, descriptors, and performance levels of the T-TESS rubric to your roles and responsibilities as a field supervisor;
•understand that the observation cycle is based on best practices and an ongoing system of feedback and support; and
•practice preparing for and having pre- and post- conferences.
