CACFP provides aid to child and adult care institutions for the provision of nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children, and the health and wellness of older adults and chronically impaired disabled persons.

Food Buying Guide (FBG) class provides participants with information on FBG contents and using yield data to complete food purchase calculations.  Participants will receive hands-on practice to determine the amount of food and beverages to purchase for planned food items in order to meet requirements for a reimbursable meal.
