This course teaches about recovery and resiliency – the belief that individuals experiencing these challenges can and do get better, and use their strengths to stay well. Under SB 460, school districts are required to provide training in early mental health intervention and suicide prevention for teachers, counselors, principals, and other appropriate staff.
